  1. Public liability insurance is mandatory under Taiwan's laws, and it protects the interests of both the public and clients.
  2. The organizers and co-organizers of “holding activities,” “site outsourcing,” “site lending (leasing)” or “engagement in risky experiments” are obliged to take “additional insurance with double amount insured” by the nature of the activities and the risk inherent to the venues of the activities with the additional clause of the liability of the workers in the duration of the activities to reduce the hazards from the pressure of being claimed for damage against the faculties and the staff.
  3. To help our staff and students in understanding related rules and regulations better, the Administrative Meeting resolved to organize training. The details of the conferences are specified below:

(I)     1st Session:

1.    Time: July 22, 10:00 am–11:20 am.

2.    Place: Computer Classroom No. 4, 1st floor, Information Technology Service Center (accommodation of 77 with computer facility).

3.    Hosted by Tokio Marine Newa Insurance.

(II)    2nd Session:

1.    Time: July 30, 10:00 am–11:20 am.

2.    Place: Computer Classroom No. 4, 1st floor, Information Technology Service Center (accommodation of 77 with computer facility).

3.    Hosted by staff of Shinkong Insurance.

(III)   3rd Session:

1.    Time: September 16, 10:00 am–11:20 am.

2.    Place: Computer Classroom No. 3, 1st floor, Information Technology Service Center (accommodation of 52 with computer facility).

3.    Hosted by staff of Taian Insurance.

(IV)  4th Session:

1.    Time: September 24, 10:00 am–11:20 am.

2.    Place: Computer Classroom No. 2, 1st floor, Information Technology Service Center (accommodation of 50 with computer facility).

3.    Hosted by staff of Hotains Insurance.

  1. Early arrival is strongly recommended as the seating capacity is limited. Q&A will   be held after the session and questions from all are welcome.
  2. Participants of each full session will be granted 2 learning hours.
  3. The audiovisual records on subsequent sessions will be placed at the NEW E3 digital education platform of the Office of Academic Affairs (at https://e3new.nctu.edu.tw/login/index.php) due to copyright. All are welcome to view the details online.
  4. Six gift coupons of 7-11 at the value of NT$50 each will be offered for each session to encourage early arrival and participation in the whole session. A lucky draw will be held at the end of each session. 
  5. All participates are urged to wear mask sand keep social distance in the sessions due to the unpredictable change of COVID-19 and the protection of personal health.
