1.    In order to act in concert with present policy of environmental protection, NCTU will no longer provide the service to clean up Styrofoam for free. To the managers of each building, institute, and unit, please do ask the original sellers of goods to conversely recycle Styrofoam (including the shock pad for lab equipment and electronic devices), or please have each unit hand it to the recycling contractors at the designated spot on Thursday and pay the contractors for the clean-up fee by each unit (the current price: 50 NTD/kg).

2.    Styrofoam pieces that are too dirty to be cleaned are regarded as general garbage and can be handed to the garbage trucks running on campus daily. A wonderful campus environment requires our mutual endeavor. We thank you for your cooperation.
