Key points in the service of the Campus Facilities Office

In light of the development of the Kuangfu Campus, the NCTU has established the Campus Facilities Office in July, 1975 to handle the relevant matters. The group of personnel originally under the Administration was also transferred to the Campus Facilities Office. Under the capable leadership of many chiefs and supervisors, the Campus Facilities Office has proven to be successful in its endeavors for over two decades. In principle, the main responsibilities of the Campus Facilities Office can be divided into two types of specialization: civil construction and utilities/air conditioning management. The Campus Facilities Office has several dedicated technicians in charge of these facilities and its main responsibilities are as follows:

2. Construction of outdoor public facilities including: power, telecom, fire fighting equipment, storm drainage, sewage, water supply, gas, standpipe, road pavement, parking stalls and motorcycle sheds
3. Construction of outdoor sports facilities: various courts for ball games and sports fields
4. Overall planning: the chief of the Campus Facilities Office has always been responsible for the planning of overall middle-long term projects for the NCTU's Kuangfu campus.
